This highly interactive exhibition focuses on the Earth Observing System (EOS) and examines how satellite observations are made and what we can learn about the Earth using space technology. There are 14 interactive exhibits and three main themes: Satellites, Orbits and Satellite Technology. A Virtual Room allows visitors to experience satellites and their orbits up close and in 3D and a Google Earth exhibit is also available.

150 years ago, Charles Darwin published a theory so ground-breaking that it challenged everything people believed about life on Earth.
2009 is the year of Darwin and marks a double celebration – not only is it 200 years since the scientist’s birth, but also 150 years since The Origin of Species was first published.

Megawatt - It’s Electrifying!

The Megawatt Exhibition shows the relevance of electricity to everyday lives through a series of themed modules. One of the key messages of the exhibition is being safe around electricity.
There are 42 interactive exhibits within 7 colour coded modules: 4 large modules and 3 smaller ones. There are also 2 stand alone interactive exhibits. The exhibits are all self illuminated.

Amazing Backyard Adventures:
Discover a Hidden World
Scitech
From the biological interactions between plants and insects, the zoology of nocturnal animals, the horticultural know how that goes into growing giant vegetables, the mathematical genius needed to lay pavers and the feats of construction that can go on in the shed, the backyard is full of science.
Scitech has created a travelling back garden, complete with garden gnomes, ants and a giant spider that will engage visitors with science and technology and enable them to continue discovering after they leave the exhibition.

Interactive science exhibition that explores the technology humans have developed for travel. Pilot an airship, ride on a hovercraft or control traffic throughout a busy city. Incorporating land, sea and air travel, and transportation of humans and cargo, the exhibition covers many aspects of travel and the way transportation has shaped the social fabric of our time.

Humanoid Discovery

Using an alien perspective, the exhibition focuses on how the human body is adapted to life on Earth. Visitors become immersed in the concept as they assume the role of an alien morphed into human form, learning about the human body from a different perspective. Each exhibit focuses on one or two major messages about body functions. Using a “training log” the visitor can explore humans in a different light.

Top Secret: Licence to Spy
Scitech
Based around a James Bond style fantasy of exotic locations, high tech equipment and, of course, a mystery to solve, Top Secret – Licence to Spy focuses on the science and technology of spying and espionage.
The visitor is presented with an espionage scenario and six suspects. Armed with a Spy File, the visitor is challenged with gathering intelligence from the interactive exhibits to try to identify who played a part in the mystery.

Whodunit?
Murder Mystery at Menagerie Park

A body, a break-in, some fingerprints, an eyewitness report and a mystery to solve. Through interactive exhibits, visitors need to gather evidence to help piece together the jigsaw and solve the crime. Working like a forensic scientist, visitors sift through the evidence to provide an accurate picture of what went on in the park.
